Hi Doves,I benefited from Miriam's and Alan's thoughts on this subject. Alan, thanks for your thoughts on Ezekiel 37. The observation that the Saints of elect national Israel are resurrected and transported to Israel is interesting also in light of Romans 11:12 & 15
12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fullness?
15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?"
Life from the dead certainly can mean the resurrection of those elect of the nation of Israel. Truly the nation of Israel is "diminished" and there is just a small remnant according to the election of grace. But the future holds greater things, the gathering of Israel according to life from the dead.
For the Gentiles also, the receiving of Israel is "life from the dead", because at the time of Israel's grafting in is the rapture. Then comes the promise "in the dispensation of the fullness of times he will gather together all things in Christ, which are in heaven AND which are on earth". Eph 1:10
