Original Title: "Ten years later, the 'Kids' are definitely not alright"

The above titled article contains material which is just
not suitable for direct posting on Five Doves, however I
would encourage others to read the article via the link,
as it describes the immorality of the vaunted 'Sundance'
film festival in Utah this year which features new films
made by independents and smaller studios. The films that
are listed in this article are concluded by the writer
with the following closing comments:

"There may be more examples among the 120-odd features shown at
Sundance, but sexual precocity among minors jumped out as the most
frequent element found in independent films this year -- more even
than such other popular subjects as family dysfunction, political
rebellion and ethnic disparities. Whether this is a sign of
something, or merely evidence of young filmmakers' latest
notion about a good way to titillate and shock, remains
to be seen."

"A sign of something"? I think I speak for everyone when I say
that we know full well what such depravity is a 'sign of'. I wonder
if Robert Redford is proud of his 'Sundance Film Festival' now.
