Dear brother,
I am glad the newsletter was a
blessing to you. I fully intended to convey the idea that 2004 was
the final year before the coming of the Lord. I hope that I got
that across to every reader.
You may be right! We may
have until May 14, 2005. But I certainly hope not. I am personally
expecting the 70th week to start right where the 69th week left off. I am
referring to the prophecies given to Daniel in Daniel 9:24-27.
The 69th week came to an end at sundown on the 10th of Abib, the day
Christ rode the donkey into Jerusalem. By carefully studying and comparing
all three accounts of the event as recorded in Matthew, Mark,
and Luke, the truth of this becomes evident.
Notice especially the account in Luke 19:28-44. I am not
at all dogmatic on this point, but I see no good [Scriptural] reason why
the Lord, being as precise as He is revealed to be in His Word will not take up
the 70th week right where He left off the 69th, allowing for the intervening
Dispensation of Grace. We will soon see!
But if the Lord doesn't come for
His people at that precise time, rest assured that He is still coming this
year. Now that the correct year has arrived, all of the time periods in
the Bible are falling into place in perfect harmony with the prophetic
Word. That cannot be a coincidence!
I do believe in the Spring
rapture. There are just too many Scriptures in the Bible that point to the
Spring for the deliverance of God's people. That would mean sometime
between March 20th [the vernal equinox] and June 21st [the summer
solstice]. Just knowing that the Lord is coming this Spring brings joy and
rejoicing to my heart. I am home sick for Heaven and weary of this
sin-cursed, Christ rejecting world.
God bless you, brother.
Thanks for writing. Keep looking up.

Jesus," Revelation 22:20.

Dear Pastor Riley,
Loved the new newsletter. I was intrigued by your article (Why? ....And
When?) on 2004 which is now past. If I followed you and did my own math and
dating correctly, we really have until May 14 2005 for that prophesy of yours
to come true. Let us hope and pray! I have been looking at Pentecost 2005 as
being an excellent time for rapture to occur. Our Lord started the church on
Pentecost. Why not rapture the church and thus end the church age on
Pentecost. The problem with Pentecost this year is the actual date. Easter is
being celebrated before Passover this year and thus I believe Pentecost is
being celebrated too early as well. I make Pentecost in mid June this year
based on the Hebrew calendar and Passover. No wonder the Lord said "no one
knows the day or hour!" No one seems sure when the real Pentecost is. Anyway I
am looking at May or June in my calculations for rapture. I would be very
interested to know your thoughts on the matter. I already know you believe it
is 2005 as do I, but do you have Biblically rooted thoughts or beliefs on when
in 2005 like I do? We have been wrong before, but let us not give up! Time is
short. Praise God!
Blessings,
Dan Cooney
