Many
are calling Ariel Sharon a Traitor here in Israel, while traveling across
the country you will see such signs comparing Sharon with Hitler.The
word Dictator or even worse but nothing seems to have an effect on this
man.The man who was once
considered the champion of the Jewish Settlements, who called them the
heroes of Israel, now wants to destroy them or at least eliminate them.
As
the resistant movement to his Disengagement of Gaza draws closer so does
the violence protests against it.If
someone would have told me that I’d see the day when Jewish mothers would
sit in the road leading into the city of Jerusalem holding their babies
in their arms while IDF soldiers were fighting against them, I’d have said
that could never happen in Israel.Or
that the IDF would be used for any other reason than to defend Israel against
its enemies, I would not have believed it, but we are living in such a
day, when our Prime Minister gives such orders.
There
has been over 90,000 Jews who have signed pledges to be at Gaza in order
to stop the IDF from ripping Jews from their homes, and the way I see it
there are most likely a couple hundred thousand who will be there that
haven’t signed such a pledge.Over
10,000 IDF soldiers have signed pledges to refuse order to force Jews from
their homes any where in Israel.A
survey has been taken and it shows that for every IDF soldiers who has
signed that pledge there is at least 7 who will refuse the order as well.
The
demonstrations have begun to turn violent already with police and soldiers
being injured and sent to the hospital as well as many Settlers.In
all the years I’ve lived in Israel I’ve never seen or ever thought I’d
see anything like this.A Likud Prime
Minister so intent or pleasing the International community, primarily George
Bush, that he would resort to so much deception, and like many thousands
of others I feel he has stolen my vote.What
makes it worse there doesn’t seem to be anything we can do about it, for
many of those who were elected into the Knesset have also turned their
backs on the Jews of Israel.But
we are thanking God for the few who are still standing on the principle
of serving Israel first and not themselves.
When
Sharon sees he will lose a vote, he simply fires those who he knows will
vote against him, replaces them with someone who will.And
when his own party splits and 17 of the Likud MK’s (so-called Rebels) vote
against him, he simply goes to the Liberal Labor Party and the Arab Parties
and gets their vote to pass whatever he wants.He
has absolutely no loyalty to those of us who voted him into office he has
stolen our vote with lies and deception.
There
has been many threats on Sharon’s life and those other MK’s who have joined
him in order to keep their Volvo and high paying position in the Knesset,
for fear of a new election and they would lose it all if there were to
be early elections.They have placed
their political careers in front of that of the good of the country.
Connie,
Joel and I were in the Knesset yesterday speaking with someone about Aliyah
and other things.The one
thing that was obvious was the activity was like a beehive, and security
was as high as it could possibly get.In
fact, there has never been a Prime Minister before Sharon who needed that
level of security around him inside the Knesset.I
can tell you that for someone to enter that building with any kind of weapon
would be almost impossible.On top
of that you cannot enter the Knesset without an invitation from an MK.So
the question is, why does Sharon think he needs so much security among
other Knesset Members (MK’s)?Unless
he knows he is doing something so terrible that even those other leaders
hate him enough to do him physical harm.
The
hate for Sharon has risen to the point that he has even had to place private
guards around his wife’s grave near his Negev ranch for fear someone will
destroy it out of hate for him.But
he has no problem telling the Jews of Gaza that not only will they be forced
out of their homes but the graves of their loved ones who died fighting
for this land will also be disturbed and removed as well.
The
sad thing is the ones who stand in line to replace Sharon in the Likud
Party such as Netanyahu have already voted for the disengagement.Netanyahu
for example will say one thing and then do the other time and time again.In
today’s Israeli papers he says he will vote against disengagement “unless
something very dramatic would happen to change his mind” as always
it will.If Netanyahu had
voted against the first bill when it came up others would have followed
his lead, but he didn’t and it passed.So
I blame him as much as Sharon for the Disengagement Plan.
Russia
is going forward in their arms deal with Syria to sell them the Sa-18 Antiaircraft
missiles.Vladimir Putin says he
understands Israelis concern but that these weapons will be mounted on
vehicles and not sold as a shoulder mount device.But
the truth is a kid could make the conversion.These
are weapons that once get into the hands of Terrorists they will use them
to shoot down commercial airlines.
Russia
will not be stopped form building nuclear reactors in Iran, knowing that
this like Syria it is a state that sponsors terrorist organizations around
the world.If one sits back and looks
at the big picture it is hard to understand how the US cannot opening oppose
these activities, yet Russia, North Korea and China continue supporting
these Arab Countries that supply the terrorist with arms to kill us with.The
one obvious conclusion is the US only jumps on the small fries who they
are absolutely certain they can beat up quickly.The
big boys who supply the weapons go unpunished.But
if the truth would be known and it is, the US is the number one arms supplier
in the world and has been for decades.For
example, Egypt’s F-15 and F-16 along with the entire navy and military
arsenal have been supplied to them by the US.All
the Saudis military has been supplied,by
the US.And over a dozen other
Arab countries have air forces and armies equipped by the US.All
enemies of Israel and who want to destroy Israel.
Today’s
climate between the US and Saudi Arabia has cause them to begin making
deals with Russia for arms supplies.This
of course makes Russia very happy.
As
I look around Israel at some of the other very serious problems, I come
to one solution, Aliyah, the thing that will solve the major problems Israel
is facing today is the immigration of Jews to Israel.And
as I read the Word I see that God thinks the same thing, and He will bring
it about either by the fishermen or the Hunters, and I believe the time
of the Fishermen has passed and now we are about to witness once gain the
dreaded effects of the hunters.
For
this reason I believe God is shaking Israel at its very roots and will
continue to do so until the Jews come to God in repentance and they understand
it was God who brought them here, and that they are now trying to solve
their problems with out His guidance.That
they must turn back to Him and consider the outcome if they should refuse
to do so.To be a Zionist
is simply to be one who believes that God brought the Jews back to the
Land He promised Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.And
if one believes that they will have no problem in trusting God and His
Word.
God
will bring the Jews back, for this is the only place a Jew can live his
or her life as a Jew without the threat of persecution.The
only country on earth where Jews have an army to defend himself with.God
has done a marvelous thing in reestablishing the Holy Land, it is the one
piece of fulfilled prophecy that opened the door for all the end time prophetic
promises, up to the appearing of the Messiah, the budding of the fig tree.
Those
of us in this Ministry have been given an awesome task and obligation to
prepare a way to rescue Jews when they begin to run for their lives from
Europe, and it is also a great blessing from God to be chosen, and as we
know many are called but few are chosen.I
only pray that you have heard the call and accept that calling, for your
part is as important as any other.And
there is so much for us to accomplish in making safe houses available and
a larger boat to transfer those we can.I
am asking everyone again to pray bout your part in this Ministry.
Pray
for the peace of Israel, for our son Joel, and all the IDF soldiers, pray
for all those who have come fight the Islamic enemy.Pray
