... makes me wonder if now the "pieces" are in place for those with a
different agenda?

Now, with this "controversial doomsday provision that would allow a handful of
lawmakers to run Congress if a terrorist attack or major disaster killed or
incapacitated large numbers of congressmen"  existing, the way has been
LEGALLY paved for the attack?!?

We are getting closer to full-moon for Adar I and closer to Pesach.
