Dear Doug - what a wonderful, insightful letter !  Thank you so much.   I also see many things superimposed upon what might escape the lazy and drifting reading in the Bible, seeing the jigzaw puzzle come together, especially more so in the last few years, for I believe He is opening up to us in these final hours His promise that the Holy Spirit "will show you what is to come....".
Yes, I agree that there is a separation of those who at the call of Christ, will boldly jump right up there to be with Him.  Jesus warned, "remember Lot's wife....", and she apparently had worldly issues she was still attached to.   We must "die to the world", and "the seed must die, before bringing forth new life", etc.   It follows also with the foolish virgins, who apparently had unresolved issues with the world.  It is interesting that all ten virgins "slumbered and slept".  Slumbering is a light sleep, with expectancy on the mind (the wise, expecting virgins) , while "sleeping" is the deep sleep of night.   When that moment comes there must have been a preparedness period, and a confidence-building period, and a faith-building period, and of course the love and expectancy which we hold who wait for Him.   Hence, the foolish virgins had to "sort out" what was going on.  "those who were READY went in with Him to the marriage...."    The foolish virgins, like those Israelites who trembled in fear, will "move afar off" at the noise, and attempt to get the counsel and advice of the wise virgins, like the Israelites preferred to have Moses be their representative, out of "fear".   But perfect love casts out all fear, and we who love Him perfectly will not have fear that day, but JOY, and the "joy that no man can take from us."
Likewise, in the parable of the servants who say  "in their HEARTS my Lord delayeth His coming", are those who put the rapture at mid-trib or post-trib; i.e., delayeth His coming.   No, He will not delay His coming for "those who watch for Him", but He certainly will give these servants "their time with the hypocrites", for  in their HEARTS that is what they WANT, so He will oblige them, and let them have their delay, with which they deluded and confused others into expecting.
At Pentecost, no wheat can be gathered until the firstfruits are offered.  Those loaves are made of "fine flour", which has been sifted many times.   Jesus told Peter, "Satan has asked that he may sift you".  Note that as in Job, Satan has to ask permission to do anything !  What a loser !   Peter, who represents the church, will be "sifted" into fine flour, and raised up as baked loaves to Our Lord and Our God and Our Redeemer and Our Bridegroom !!!!
Thanks for making my day, Doug.....................sister Arlene
