Here is the reason why the date-setters have all been wrong, in the past, about the date of the rapture. Every date-setter who has ventured a guess about the date of the rapture has been wrong because they all left out one very important Scriptural event which MUST OCCUR BEFORE the rapture can happen according to the Scriptures. That specific Scriptural event is God's 'Gog-Magog War' of tribulation judgment  against Israel which will occur JUST PRIOR TO the rapture according to the Scriptures.

In the following prophetic Scripture God speaks of His Gog-Magog War against Israel as a visual sign especially before the eyes of the watching Gentiles in the latter days to sanctify His name. What point would there be for God to cause this prophetic event to occur before the eyes of the left-behind, not-watching Gentiles after the rapture?

Ezekiel 38:16

"You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land so that the Gentiles may know me when I am sanctified in you, O Gog, before their eyes."

The next Scripture tells us that God's Gog-Magog War of tribulation judgment upon Israel has ended, and now the rapture is the next prophetic event to occur :

Matthew 24:28-29

"For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together immediately after the tribulation of those days......"  Matthew 24:29-31 continues on to describe the resurrection and rapture.

Come Lord Jesus,
