"Reply to Josua (9 Dec 2011)"

Dear Josua;

What I found confusing (and disturbing) in the "markbeast" link you provided were these quotes:
    "In 2015 the 6,000 years will be completed and people will be
removed from the earth. Then the earth will have a sabbath rest for 1,000 years."
                                             AND......
    "The final Jubilee will begin on the Day of Atonement in the year 2015.....Within days, Jesus will come to earth the second time to take His people back to heaven with Him and the earth will begin its 1,000 years of rest."

Josua, would you care to explain how this jives with Jesus' 1,000 year reign on earth, in which He will rule the world in righteousness.....or how it fits with:

Revelation 20:4 > "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."
    OR....
Jeremiah 3:17 > "Jerusalem shall be called the Throne of the LORD, and all the nations shallo be gathered to it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem."
    OR....
Matthew 6:10 > "Your kingdom come.  Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
    OR....
Any of the other scriptures that show that Jesus will rule in partnership with resurrected saints: Rev. 2:26-27; 3:21; 5:10; 20:4-6; 22:5; Matt. 19:28; 20:21-23; 25:23; Luke 19:17-19; 22:29-30; 1 Cor. 6:2-3; 2 Tim. 2:12; Rom. 8:17.

The Millennial Kingdom is a major revelation of Scripture!  Jesus' core message was that God's kingdom was being released in a new measure on earth.

Jesus quoted Daniel 7:27 concerning His rule over all the nations and dominions of the earth.  In the Millennium, all the kings of the earth will be saved and worship Jesus and base their national governments on God's Word......When the Son of Man comes in His glory.....then He will sit on the Throne of His glory.  All the nations will be gathered before Him.  All Kings shall fall down before Him; all nations shall serve Him.  Having made known to us the mystery of His will.....that He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth, in Him.

So, Josua, would you care to explain....because without the foundational understanding of the end times, confusion is inevitable!
Until.....Sherry Vance
