"Run the Race and
Don't Fall into a Pit!"
All, we are about to see the finish
line. Keep moving fast at lightening speed
encouraging other watchers and preparing your hearts and
souls. Don't get caught up in exposing false
teachers because that is when you look to the left or to the
right and will trip close to the finish line. Don't
get caught up in responding to people who are attacking you
because you will fall into a pit, then will have to climb out of
it to get back on the race track. Time is short and
people believe at this point what they want to
believe. We can pray for them.
If you are going through persecution, just be nice to the person
and kindly walk away. I watched this movie Henry
Poole is Here and this guy was a mocker and full of anger....but
his neighbor Esperanza really believed in Jesus Christ and His
blood and stayed nice to him, and it made all the
difference. We don't have to deal with everyone who
is coming against us mocking us, but there is one person usually
in our lives that is close we have to face. For me, it is
my husband, but I am not required to deal with the general
public mocking me and trying to argue with them all day
long. I am not going to go down into that pit with
them. I am going to avoid it.
Otherwise I will get depressed and full of bitterness and I
don't want to be like Lot's wife who looked back.
Getting into arguments with people who don't agree with you or
that mock you is looking to the right and to the left in the
race and you will end up tripping into a pit. At
this point, focus clearly on the prize and look straight ahead
and encourage other watchers.
People mock and are angry because there is something wrong in
their lives, it has nothing to do with you.
