Yakhont supersonic naval cruise missiles
Russia has delivered supersonic cruise missiles to Syria despite the violence shaking the Arab country and Israel's furious condemnation of the deal, a news report said on Thursday.
"The Yakhont supersonic anti-ship cruise missiles have been delivered to Syria," a military source told the Interfax news agency without disclosing when the shipment was made.
Russia signed a contract reportedly worth at least $300 million (222 million euros) in 2007 to supply its traditional Arab world ally with a large shipment of the cruise missiles.

Egypt’s two main Islamist blocs said they may have won more than 70 percent of votes in parliamentary elections this week that are the first major test of public opinion since the ouster of Hosni Mubarak.
The Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party said it won at least 40 percent in the first round of the elections, which took place in one-third of the country’s provinces. The more conservative Salafi Al-Nour Party said it got at least 30 percent while the secular Egyptian Bloc said it may have won up to 20 percent of the vote.
