While no one here can claim to absolutely know without a shadow of a doubt, just who the antichrist is or will be, the Bible does make certain characteristics definitive.  For instance, Daniel says that the vile person will not regard ANY god.  Now that is a pretty telling characteristic.  It pretty much rules out any Islamic fanatic becoming the antichrist as the Muslim's prime motivation is due to a very high regard for Allah, a false god.  Jesus said in Matthew 24 that the many false prophets and false christs that would arise would fool even the ELECT if that were possible.  These two Biblical characteristics lead me to believe that the ultimate antichrist will appear Christian, yet embrace every religion.  By embracing every religion he can regard NONE of them, nor their gods.  He specifically mocks and disregards the Christian and Jewish religions.
 
In regard to Obama, the description fits.  He does regard safety though.  Daniel says that the vile person would regard the god of 'forces' in the KJV, which is interpreted as a safe haven, albeit man-made.  At his core, Mr. Obama regards man-made safety over every aspect of life.  Provide people their every need and you have the ultimate power over them.
 
The Bible also specifically says that 666 is the number of a MAN, not a spirit, not a group or system but a MAN.  Seemingly, the only way to solve the name of the man is by the gematria value of his name.  While it is possible that my method is flawed, I have made a gematria calculator which reckons the value of a person's name in the various gematria methods known.  I've applied the multiple names of many past and present world leaders, including the variations of their names.  None have the total gematria value of 666 other than (President) Barack Hussein Obama the Second, which totals 666+666+666.  In Greek, Hussein = 666.  The remaining Barack Obama = 6+66+666 in Greek, the language of the Book of Revelation.  Simple 'Barack' in English has a gematria value of 36, which is the triangular root of 666.
 
When he took office, he was the defacto leader of modern day Babylon as commander-in-cheif of the occupying force there.  He has fallen from that designation however as our troops are no longer occupying Babylon.  "[4] That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!" - Isa 14:4 KJV
 
As for being Assyrian, the former Assyrian empire reached the head waters of the Nile, that is modern Kenya the direct heritage of Obama.
 
According to one article, his mother is also direct descendant of Titus, the 7th true Roman emperor that destroyed the Temple in 70AD (the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary).
 
I believe we are in the end-times.  Unless another, someone just like BHO comes along very quickly, I believe he is the one.  There isn't time for another.
