Hi John & KML,

Many of us have heard/read different opinions on “The Restrainer”.  Some say it’s the Church, others it’s the Holy Spirit.  Gary Stearman says it’s the Church and that the Holy Spirit will leave with the Church.  I can go along with that position with one understanding.  The Holy Spirit does indwell the believer and guides him when witnessing.  But keep in mind that He is GOD and that He is omnipresent.  My question is that If one believes “The Restrainer” is the Holy Spirit and will be removed, how will those left behind become Tribulation Saints if the H.S. is not here to draw them to the Lord?  Who or what will draw them to the Father?

Jesus said in Jn. 6:44, No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him and I will raise him up at the last day.  The Church has to be “The Restrainer” and the Holy Spirit doesn’t leave at the catching away.
