I agree with Frank’s explanation about the “lowered” servant light of the Hanukiah regardless some readers may have failed to see it.

 

My friend has a Hanukiah at home that the servant light is in front of the other 8 by a couple of inches.  So the servant light appeared to be higher than the others if viewed from below.

As both picture show the servant light taller than the others yet actually they are the same height.
