Jovial, while you are correct in your description on what the word Tikkun ha-Olam means: The Restoration of the World..... I believe you are incorrect in saying that it has nothing to do with Kabkalah. I have posted a portion of the description in the link below.
Tikkun ha-Olam http://www.newkabbalah.com/tikkun.htmlThe Unification of God and His Shekhina: An erotic union between the masculine and feminine aspects of God is an important Kabbalistic symbol which predates and was incorporated into the Lurianic symbol of TikkunThe "raising of the sparks" implies that there is something of spiritual value in all things, and it is man's daily task to discover and bring out the value in the material world, thereby transforming that world into a spiritual realm. Tikkun ha-Olam will only be complete when the last spark has been raised and the entire world informed with spiritual meaning and value.
The symbol of Tikkun ha-Olam embodies the most distinctively Jewish, as well as the the single most important ethical injunction of the Kabbalah: the command that humanity must restore and redeem a broken and fallen world (see Shevirat ha-Kelim).
Symbols of the Kabbalah: Philosophical and Psychological Perspectives (Jason Aronson, 2000) provides a philosophical and psychological interpretation of the theosophical Kabbalah. It shows that the Kabbalah, particularly as it is expressed in the school of Isaac Luria, provides a coherent and comprehensive account of the cosmos, and humanity's role within it, that is intellectually, morally, and spiritually significant for contemporary life.
In this book, Dr. Sanford Drob articulates the philosophical and psychological ideas that are implicit in such kabbalistic symbols as Ein-sof (the Infinite), Tzimtzum (Divine Contraction), Sefirot (Divine Archetypes), Shevirat ha-Kelim (Breaking of the Vessels), and Tikkun ha-Olam (the Restoration of the World). Dr. Drob shows how contemporary philosophy and psychology enable us to gain insight into the theosophical Kabbalah, and to understand the Kabbalah in a manner that is vitally relevant to contemporary life and thought.
Back to me, Jovial, I have to remind you that this is a Christian link where it's followers are believers in Yeshuah, the Only Begotten Son of Jehovah. We believe that the Laws given in the Old Testament (613 in all) were impossible for man-kind to fulfill AND God knew this. Therefore He sent His Only Begotten Son to come down to Man to purchase their salvation but by and large, the gift was rejected. He did not come to do away with the Law but came to fulfill the Law Matthew 5:17. All was fulfilled in Him and only He will be able to bring this world back to the original place that it was intended by Almighty God in the first place. There is no way that man can redeem a broken and fallen world and those of the mind-set to bring A New World Order will fail because they have sold out to the lies of Lucifer, their god. Within the Kabbalah, are many symbols that have even been put into physical art that can be seen as "false gods" to invoke to bring about this next step taken by the recent lighting of the Hanukkah Menorrah, which are 9 posts. While there are many different Menorrah designs just as there are many varieties of Jewish people.....in this case.... it was very, very clearly noticed that the center Servant candle was not even placed in the center slot (whether forward or backward of the other slots) but somehow attached on it's side so it was even off-center. That message was loud and clear. I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. John 8:12. Over and over again, Yeshua proclaimed Himself as such, John 9:5, 9:39.....
While we pray for the Jewish people as we are commanded to do by our Lord, we do recognize that there are those that call themselves Jews but are of the Synagogue of Satan and followers of the Kabbalah with it's oral teachings that were brought back from Babylon. Thank Jehovah God, He knows who are and who are just calling themselves as such but for now, the hatred of the world against the real Jews is being fueld by The Great Pretenders who think they will bring about their perfect New World Order.
"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people,
that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." (Rev. 18:4)
Please let this link, below, say it in a much better way about what took place at the White House. gerlinda
This statement made by Obama at the White House Hanukkah ceremony on 12-8-11, when understood, is astounding. It literally opens up a panorama of revelation as to how the world is now being "guided" into the so called new world order.
