Dear John and Doves,I once had a person tell me that this couldn't be the face of God because no one ever saw it and lived. I sure agree with that statement about not seeing God's face and living but how about the thousand that did see the human face of Jesus Christ who suffered and died on the cross and arose from the dead? I'm sure glad that person is not making important decision based on that kind of thinking. I, for one, have believed this to be authentic and the most convincing proof for me was the report from Forensic doctor whom investigated all of the markings on it that lined up with the kind of torture that the Bible tells us that Jesus endured.
