Thank you Jean Stepnoski for referencing an article (called The Curious Capture of Gilad Shalit) in your post called Reflections About Hanukkah on December 12.
I read the article at prayersforthepeople.com. It is loaded with interesting, amazing information. I can't seem to send Daniel (the author) a note on that site, but am hoping that either Jean knows a way or that Daniel or Garden Girl reads this here.
Daniel ends the article with ponderings about December 27, 2011. While we do not know what is going to happen that day, I find it so interesting that some of the numbers he studied in relation to the capture of Gilad brings us to that date. I encouarge the Doves to go read it!
It is on that date, Tevet 1, that Esther was made Queen! Tevet 1 is also the 8th day of Hanukkah.
And on Tevet 10, 588 BC(a minor fast day on the Hebrew calendar), the siege of Jerusalem began under Nebuchadnezzar which culminated in the destruction of the Temple on the 9th of AV, 586.
Oh soon and very soon, we are going to see our King!
In Him, with faith!
