"Rising
Up and the Number 353"
Interested Readers -
I chased a concept which seems have panned out, similar to
material found in these posts:
http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/dec2011/clay127-1.htm
http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/dec2011/clay127-2.htm
with a twist.
I looked at Strong's greek number 353, which is -
analambano {an-al-am-ban'-o} from 303 and 2983; TDNT -
4:7,495; v AV - take up 4, receive up 3, take 3, take in 2,
take into 1; 13 1) to take up, raise 2) to take up (a thing in
order to carry or use it)
first mention =
Mark 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, He was
received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
then I entered 353 into the gematria entry blank of Richard
McGough's Bible Wheel excellent site here:

looking for a common themes to appear. There are 56 verses
that have an in-text value of 353 in the Bible. Looking
through each verse produced a common theme that I noticed
right away.
this is the theme of "rising up", "coming up" lifting up" and
also "plucking up by the roots".
Here are the verses that have to do with those themes out of
the list of 56:
Deuteronomy 32:38
Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine
of their drink offerings? let them RISE UP and help you, and
be your protection.
1 Samuel 2:8
He RAISETH UP the poor out of the dust, and LIFTETH UP the
beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to
make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the
earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them.
1Kings 1:40
And all the people CAME UP after him, and the people piped
with pipes, and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth
rent with the sound of them.
2Chronicles 28:15
And the men which were expressed by name ROSE UP, and took the
captives, and with the spoil clothed all that were naked among
them, and arrayed them, and shod them, and gave them to eat
and to drink, and anointed them, and carried all the feeble of
them upon asses, and brought them to Jericho, the city of palm
trees to their brethren: then they returned to Samaria.
Ezra 10:6 Then Ezra ROSE UP from before the house of God, and
went into the chamber of Johanan the son of Eliashib: and when
he came thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water: for he
mourned because of the transgression of them that had been
carried away.
Daniel 7:8
I considered the horns, and, behold, there CAME UP among them
another little horn, before whom there were three of the first
horns PLUCKED UP BY THE ROOTS: and, behold, in this horn were
eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
Luke 17:6
And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed,
ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou PLUCKED UP BY
THE ROOT, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey
you.
John 17:1
These words spake Jesus, and LIFTED UP his eyes to heaven, and
said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son
also may glorify thee:
1 Corinthians 15:17
And if Christ be not RAISED, your faith is vain; ye are yet in
your sins.
**********
This seems to be a match between the Strong's number 353 and
the gematria values of a variety of words found in numerous
places in the Bible.
This is different than the two links posted at the beginning
which address common themes found tied to a particular number,
like 1123, but not matched to a Strong's numbered word with
the same theme. I just didn't look for that when I wrote those
posts.
notice of particular interest are the two verses that deal
with the Plucked Up by the Roots concept. OT and NT, using
completely different texts and words in different languages.
seems to tie 353 directly to Daniel's 'little horn".
Jesus is Lord.
