To your question “how would it be possible for the whole world to see the two witnesses lying dead in the streets & being raised up?”
 
The answer is easy:  Everything is possible with GOD and to HIM that would be a simple thing for the entire world to see the two witnesses.  Does anyone really think we absolutely need TVs, internet, satellites for God to appear to the world?  If GOD wants every eye to see HIM, every eye WILL see Him.  GOD does not need the help of TV, internet, satellites !!!
