Hi Nicole,
First. I enjoy reading your
posts.
To the question, why some would think it
would be a noble honor to be ‘left behind’ if God asked
them to, I find that thought to be very religiously
deceptive !
Peter cut off a soldier’s ear as Jesus
was being arrested to prove ‘his love and loyalty’ to
the Lord. A few hours later, he denied knowing Him
! Earlier in Matthew 16:20-24,
we read as Jesus began to tell His disciples He was going to suffer many
things, be killed and raised again on the Third
Day, Peter rebuked Him (the Word says) telling
Jesus “Be it far from Thee Lord: this shall not be
unto Thee.” Well.
We all know how Jesus scolded Peter even calling him
Satan !
If people can’t crucify the flesh now
and live sanctified, holy lives unto the Lord by the
power and only the power of His Holy Spirit, the Sword
of the Spirit and the Blood of the Lamb, how in
the world do they think they are going to make it
through the Tribulation? Do they actually think
they will be able to forsake their soul lives then if
they gave into temptation now?
God has already told us in His Word, He
has appointed 144,000 Jews who will be sealed having the
mark of GOD on their foreheads. They will not be
hurt. (Revelation 7:3-4) No
weapon formed against them will succeed !
Everyone else is fair game.
This is why we are commanded to pray
without ceasing pray TODAY. We are instructed to
watch and pray ALWAYS to be counted worthy to escape ALL
the things that are about to come to pass and to stand
before the Son of Man !
We cannot honor and serve God in the
flesh! It just doesn’t work that way! That’s
why religious people are so frustrated with their walk
with Christ and most times give up!
Great post as always Nicole,
Your friend in Christ,
Carol Garza
