"RE :
Mathman and other are wrong for believing 2015 is the year
of Christ's return ?"
Mathman and Doves,
Your letter on .." Mathman and others are wrong.." , dated
12-23-11 was IMHO exceptionally well presented and thought out.
And if we are off this rock by Apr. 11, 2012 then that would be
extremely acceptable, of course !
The numbers obviously add up, and there are more than enough
numerical witnesses to convince anyone of the soundness of the
Jubillee math.
I do have one teeny reservation to bring up..if the Ezekiel 38,
39 war is during the tribulation, as many believe, ( 39: 22 " So
the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from
that day and forward.") then how come it says they destroy the
bodies for seven years afterward ? ( " 39 : 9 " And they
that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set
on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers,
the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and
they shall BURN THEM WITH FIRE SEVEN YEARS. " )
Being we have less than 4 years until Trumpets 2015, then if
this war WAS to break out AFTER the rapture, then they would
have to be burning that stuff well into the Millennial Reign of
Christ. I for one do not think The Lord Jesus would
appreciate all those stinky fires and smoke mussing up His
Kingdom...Why wouldn't He just send the angels to "
Presto-cleano" and make it go away ?
And theoretically, this battle could not happen in the end of
the millennium after the devil is loosed for a season and forms
the last siege against Israel, because A) The Lord is present,
and B)the adversaries mentioned should be mostly wiped out in
the great tribulation at Christ's second advent.
I do hope and pray you are right, Mathman, and thank you
for the encouragement and excitement you've bolstered in us in
looking forward that much more in anticipation to that blessed
day.
Together in Christ
