Well, here we are at the end of the year.........and
 
1) NO total economic collapse of the economy......so, there was a post back in June and the coming economic apocolypse........I said then "it wasn't going to happen."
 
NO TOTAL ECONOMIC COLLAPSE, in my opinion, UNTIL THE RAPTURE.
 
Granted.....lots of problems.....especially in Europe.  And the US Gvt debts continue to mount.....but I think it is all building up, until the Rapture.
 
Imagine........if the US "loses" even 10% of it's tax-paying Christians.......EVERYTHING implodes financially.
 
2)  Gold climbed nicely this year....especially if you owned some (in wahtever form you owned it..didn't matter)
 
3) US Dollar....(I watch it against the Euro....)  So, against the Euro, it fell from around $1.19 to around $1.39....and has strengthened back to around $1.30.  The Euro has been the problem....NOT the US Dollar.  At least for now....
 
When the world RUNS FOR FINANCIAL SAFETY, they still run to the US dollar.
 
Sooooooo, now, watch.  Everyone who was calling for Total Financial Collapse....
 
WILL ROLL THE Predicted date forward, into 2011 !!   Just watch.
 
Most of these same people have been calling for the Collapse since fall, 2008.  In early 2009 they were calling for US Banks to be Nationalized.   (Hey, even I thought that was a possibility....things WERE BLEAK!)
 
Maybe though........they were right....but....but.....they just had the WRONG COUNTRY!!!    Just saw an article where Ireland has Nationalized it's FOURTH bank, due to their crisis!!
 
Sorry.....they CAN'T "take it back" ......the predictions were for US BANKS to be Nationalized.
 
Hey.....sooner or later (when the Rapture happens) they WILL be right!!
 
In the mean time......I have to live in the "real" world......  and I can't tell people to put their money all in gold, and bury it in the back yard.
 
There were ALOT of good investment choices in 2010....as in 2009.....(whether you like or not....whether you believe in the 'system' or not.....)
 
Ah, but in 2011?   Watch the forecasts....only time will prove who is right and who is wrong.  Ah, life!!

PS....there was a BIG post back around June, with over 20 "financial gurus" ....and ALL predicted total financial collapes yet in 2010.  UGH!!
 
I remember the book in 1990 "The Great coming Depression of the 1990's"  UGH!
 
I also remember the book in 1999 or so......DOW 35,000 !"   LOL.....  One of the guys who was IN that post, was predicting the US collapse around late August, due to a "bad" earnings release.........HE wrote a book aournd 1999 called "The Roaring 2000's"    Hmmmmmm, he was wrong on the upside and he was wrong oon the downside......
 
But, everyone WILL FORGET those bad predictions, once he comes out with his next one.....   DON'T YOU JUST LOVE IT !!!    lol....
