it could only be off one month meaning that Hanukkah would be Jan 1st through 8th. with the 7th being Tevet 1 - conception day.

If  it's  true  that  our  calenders  are  off  2  months  with  the
Jewish  holidays  and  Rosh  Hashanah  which  was  in  September  was
really  in  November,  then  wouldn't  Hanauka  which  is  in  December
really  end  up  being  in  February  of  our  next  year  2011?
