"Peter of Rome??"

Are there any cardinals, or anyone else that can be elected pope, from Rome that might be in contention for the next pope??? If he takes Peter as his name as the prophecy has said then his being Peter of Rome would make me think that he is roman in origin. Or am I wrong?? Many assumed that “the glory of the olives” meant a Benedictine would be the pope but it actually pointed to the name he chose as Pope that being Benedict XVI. Is there any other way of interpreting Peter of Rome than him being from Rome?? Ancestry?? I don’t know.
