When you were talking about the beast with the face of a lion, and the second beast with the face of an Ox, I thought you might already know about this, but if not, check it out!
The seraphim are living creatures. They are above the Lord who is sitting on the throne. Isaiah 6:1. These creatures have heads with four faces. Each of these creatures (each seraphim) has four faces. Rev.4:6-9. Their faces are these: A face of a lion on the right side. A face of an ox on the left side. A face of a man in front. And, a face of an eagle facing to the rear. Rev.4:6-9. Seraphim have six wings. Rev 4:8 and Isaiah 6:2
In Ezekiel 1:5, There are creatures called four living creatures (or cherubim); In Ezekiel 1:10, there is a description of the cherubim and each creature having four faces. Their face in front was that of a man; Second face,to the right, was that of a lion; And the third face,to the left was that of an ox. The fourth face, facing to the rear was that of an eagle. These creatures were noted to be under the Throne in Ezekiel 1:26. These cherubim have 4 wings. Ezek 1:24
In Ezekiel 10:14, a cherubim was described as having different faces. This time the first face was the face of a cherub. The second face was of a man. The third was a lion. The fourth face was a face of an eagle. This Cherubim has a different set of faces than the one of Ezekiel 1:10. These cherubim have 4 wings. Ezekiel 10:21
In Numbers chap.2 and 3, the Lord is speaking to Moses and Aaron about the camp of the Israelites and how it is to be arranged. It interesting that the faces of the seraphim are the same as the animals given to the tribes facing in the four directions in the Israelites camp. The camp is laid out with Judah to the east. Judah is the lion. Then there is Reuben facing south. Reuben symbol is the man. Ephraim is facing west. Ephraim is the ox. And lastly, Dan is facing north. Dans symbol is the eagle. The animals which represent these tribes are the very ones which are found as faces on the seraphim.
