There has been mention that the rapture would occur on a Gentile holiday.
 I noticed December 7, 2010 Tuesday is Pearl Harbor Rememberance Day - a holiday- though not a Federal holiday.

Interestingly the plaque on this webpage about it

The wording reminds me of our commission as Christians- to live righteously & overcome the enemy who we are against/Lynnette
