"Bright Light Over Damascus, The Beginning and the End?"
Readers -
first mention of Damascus is this verse:
Genesis 14:15
"And
he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and
smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of
Damascus."
total verse gematria = 2391
Strong's 2391 greek = Jared (Descend)
I've
theorized that the Resurrection/Rapture event happens at the same time
as the Destruction of Damascus has foretold in Isaiah 17:1
Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles is converted on the road to Damascus. He is going to Damascus to arrest Christians.
that account is found in:
Acts 9:3
"And as he (Saul/Paul) journeyed he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:"
I'm
wondering if the End of the Gentile Age occurs in like manner. That a
sudden bright light over Damascus signals the End, as it seems to have
signaled the beginning. I understand that Peter opens the gospel door
to the Gentiles after seeing a vision of the sheet and the animals.
still, Paul was the leader God appointed to the Gentiles, and main
author of the New Testament letters.
the sudden bright light at the End may be the Destruction of Damascus.
that's a theory, of course.
