Have you all noticed how secular Christmas has become in the public square?  When I'm shopping and say "Merry Christmas" to the sales clerks, most seem almost embarrassed, as if they've been instructed NOT to wish people a Merry Christmas.  They are barely even saying Happy Holidays any more.  Very, very sad!!!  And sadder still, despite the downturn in the economy, people just seem to be ravenous in their  lust for more and more material "stuff."  Sickening!
