Dear Doves,

Zechariah 13:8-9 (NIV)
"In the WHOLE LAND, declares the Lord, TWO-THIRDS will be struck down and perish; yet ONE-THIRD WILL BE LEFT in it. THIS THIRD I will bring into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them. I will say, They are my people. and they will say, The Lord is our God."
(the coming 'great tribulation' in Israel in which only 1/3 of Israel survives by the grace of God.)

Romans 9:27
"Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, THE REMNANT WILL BE SAVED."
(from the one-third of Jews who are left in the land)

Matthew 24:15
"Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the Prophet, standing in the holy place then let those WHO ARE IN JUDEA flee to the mountains." (To hide yourselves from the coming great tribulation in which 2/3 of Israel perishes.)

Matthew 24:21-22
"FOR THEN there will be GREAT TRIBULATION, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until THIS TIME, no, nor ever shall be. And unless THOSE DAYS were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but FOR THE ELECT'S SAKE those days will be shortened."
