Dear Doves,

I would label myself a 'mid-weeker' because I believe that the Scriptures tell us the rapture of 'The Church' happens at the 'mid-point' of the '70th Week of Daniel' ie. 1,260 days before the 'Second Coming', but before the wrath of God upon the whole world begins. I don't believe that 'The Church' is going to be tribulated even if The Church is on the earth at the time of 'the great tribulation'.

I don't believe that The Church has anything at all to do with the 'great tribulation' which I believe to be exclusive to Israel. I believe that God is going to tribulate Israel during the 'great tribulation' described in Matthew 24:21  beginning after the 'abomination of desolation' sits in the temple of God proclaiming himself to be God 1,290 days before the 'Second Coming'.

I believe that God will tribulate Israel during the 'great tribulation' because of their disobedience as the rest of the world watches. He will save for Himself 'a remnant' of Israel out of the 'shortened tribulation' that He will protect in the desert for the 1,260 days of the last-half of the '70th Week' until the 'Second Coming'. I believe that the 'shortened tribulation' of Israel will last for less than the '30 days' between 1,290 days and 1,260 days before the 'Second Coming'.

I believe 'The Church' will be raptured "Immediately after the tribulation of those days" Matthew 24:29-30 ie. the shortened tribulation will be less than 30 days in duration lest no Jewish flesh be saved.

Nowhere in the Scriptures is 'The Church' promised to be saved from 'tribulation' because 'tribulation' is not a danger to 'The Church', but rather in many Scriptures 'The Church' is promised to be saved from the 'wrath of God' which begins at the mid-point of the '70th Week'.

As it was in the days of Noah and Lot, deliverance came in a 'nick of time' just before judgement on the same day. Only God can pull that off!
