"Re:Paul Wilson (4 Dec 2010) "Would the Prohibition Apply to""

Dear Paul,

Speaking as a former Children's Minister ages 6-13, 3rd grade and 5th grade: I would not open the child's imagination up for the easy access of the enemy. Our children today get enough imagery from movies, videos, television and i-pods, etc. Even a temporary tattoo can open up their souls & spirits to a world that could cause damage for years to come.

I would not do it, you don't know what effect it will have on the child's spirit and soul.

Blessings,
Barbara Howard

"Would the Prohibition Apply to"

There is a verse in Leviticus about cutting oneself and marks that seems to apply to tattoos but would the Lord have a problem with temporary tattoos like kids use??? Also since the prohibition on cutting mentions ‚€œfor the dead‚€ would then pierced ears be allowed as they are not pierced for the dead???
