"Re: Dennis Gaylor"
Dennis,
Thank you for taking time to read my
post and for the encouraging feedback that you shared. I can identify
with "knowing what is right, and desiring to do what is good and pure
and acceptable" yet finding "I do not have the power to carry it
out". Every time we fall, we must cling even more so to the
cross, knowing that "perseverance produces character and character
hope."
Remember, Jesus said "those who are well have no need of
a physician." May you continue to hold fast to the hope you have in
Christ, and "lean not upon your own understanding." I have no doubt
that he will "make our paths straight" not because we ourselves do what
is right and avoid what is wrong, but rather because of what Christ has
already done.
God knows the condition of our heart and if it is
one of great repentance and faith in His Son, He will slowly but
surely, help us to not get "entangled in civilian pursuits" or fall
away because of "the cares of this world" but will "lift us up on wings
like eagles" and give us "victory over our enemies."
Blessings in Christ my beloved brother,
Anthony Polenski
