Re: Suze, et al. - Shroud of Turin
I've been pondering the evidence of radiation on
the shroud, in light of our own resurrection. If we emit radiactive
light when we are changed at the rapture, I wonder what the
consequences might be if we are very near or touching someone that is
not saved when it occurs?
Re: Paul Wilson - "Question Regarding Hell"
"Where will hell be located at through eternity?? Will it still
remain in the heart of the earth or moved to a new location?? I ask
because he creates a new heaven and a NEW EARTH and because God will
dwell with us on the new earth and it to me would seem odd to have him
walking on earth with hell right under him having the devil be so close
to God and the saints and humanity. Though I know that the devil et al
will not be able to tempt still it just seems odd for him to be that
close for all eternity."
Paul, I think you have a good point. I do not
believe that hell will be located in the heart of the earth after the
Millennium. Consider the following passages:
Matthew 8:12But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Matthew 22:13Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Matthew 25:30And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Is this a description of the eternal hell, or the
current hell? I have a hard time equating "outer darkness" to the heart
of the earth. I think it might make more sense if these passages are
talking about the location of the eternal lake of fire. I've heard a
theory that the lake of fire might be located in a black hole. In
light of the description of "outer darkness" and what we know about
black holes, that sounds like a good possibility.
Re: Mary Anna - "Closer to God?"
"Yes I have noticed Rene! With me it's a clean place! I've never
been a fanatic about a clean house. I seem to be now! Why is what I
was asking myself when I was knocking myself out to get everything
clean? It hit me that after the rapture, people will be coming in and
if they find a dirty place, the question will be, is this where someone
lived that God took? I don't want the next question to be, look how
dirty it is? No, no, I don't want that! We will be surely judge by
people by what is found that we left behind from the rapture. "
I had to chuckle when I read this. I've been
feeling the same way; almost a nesting feeling of sorts. I have two
small children, so it is almost impossible to keep things tidy. I keep
telling my husband that I want people to be able to find my left behind
package and not come into the house thinking the place has already been
looted! LOL!
Maranatha!
