For those suffering from depression for what ever reason there is a scripture that is very near and dear.
That is not to say there is not relief but God knows our hearts and why.
 
Isaiah 42:3
A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;
 
That is a promise for those who are broken and of contrite heart, he is very near you.
