"RE: Is Bush the last American President?"
Jim,
I have had no dreams or revelations from the Lord, but I may be able to help
you.
The theory that George W. Bush is the last President of the United States is
actually biblically based. Here is why:
Ecclesiastes 1:9 (NIV)
9 What has been will be again,
what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun.
Many people believe that the United States is a "type" of New Testament
Israel, ie. "One Nation Under God" and "The one and only truly 'once'
Christian Nation." So The United States is like a New Testament mirror image
of Israel in the Old Testament.
That said, there were exactly forty two (42) kings of Israel. A close
examination of American history also reveals that our current President,
George W. Bush, is the forty-second (42nd) President of the United States.
But, George W. Bush is the forty-third President you say! Oh, Contraire, I
reply. George W. Bush is but the forty-second (42nd) man to hold the office
of President. Here is why. Grover Cleveland was both the twenty-second (22)
AND, the twenty-forth (24th) President. Cleveland is the only man to hold
two non-consecutive terms and is the only man to be counted twice.
So if we are to have the same number of presidents as Israel had kings,
George W. Bush is our last president. We shall see.
I hope this helps.

Excellent, Saint Daniel. Brilliant. I had not thought of that. That is a good one. Thanks.
