Well howdy do!
My husband Bill and I used to run Grandfather's Barn at the Iowa State Fair( 1996-2007) (his run at the Fair started in 1950) and only stopped due to his Parkinson's "disease."
I remember that funnel cake stand well, as we are great friends with the "soap people" (Powell's) further  east, across from the Old Country Church.  Our 4 children always wanted funnel cakes from your stand.
