I hope the Discovery Channel does an accurate job this time of reporting the latest, fascinating news about the Shroud of Turin.  The December 14th program will look at new and exciting lab tests.  Their results support the theory that the previous Carbon-14 dating was done on an edge of the Shroud that is not the same as the rest of the fabric.  Therefore, the former announcement that the Shroud was made in the Middle Ages, is no longer valid.  In August 2008, I attended a conference at Ohio State that discussed this and many other interesting topics.  Let me know if you want more information.
