"Re: If Jesus Came Tomorrow"
To Gary & all Doves,
I suspect that if Jesus came tomorrow, every single one
of us believers would be prostrate at Jesus feet, realizing that we are
all sinners saved by grace ( Jesus ) thanking & worshiping Him for
not giving us what we truly deserved. I don't care if you think you are
squeaky clean. Our righteousness is as filthy rags compared to a Holy perfect
God. There is nothing we can do to make ourselves perfect before Jesus
accept believe in Him. Even if we had all the right things sitting in plan
sight for Jesus to see and all the bad things of this world gone from our
homes and we truly loved the good things and hated the bad things. There
would still be sin in our lives. We all sin, wether willfully or in a time
of weakness. To say we don't, makes us out to be liars. 1 John 1: 8-10.
Ok, would I be ashamed of some things sitting around
in my house, probably.
But Jesus can see strait to and through the heart of
every believer, Luke 16:15. That is where it really counts. The heart is
deceitful, who can know it. Jerm. 17:9
That is what makes me tremble and wonder, what does Jesus
see in my heart now?
I'm sure there some things hidden in my heart that I
don't even know is there, that needs to be cleaned out!
Finally, Paul said in Romans 7: 24& 25, What
a wretched man I am. Who can rescue me from this body of death? Thanks
be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!
Praise the Lord,
What a wonderful Savior!!!
