Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. Matthew 24:44Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. Luke 12:40Of course if it was this easy to initiate the Rapture we should have thought of this long ago.And it is also much to easy for me to doubt and start think that the Rapture could actually happen today. But consider all the signs that have me doubting. For example Pineman's post:Pineman (12 Dec 2007) "2007 Rapture?"Dear John & Doves:In reading the 5 doves posts I saw mention of a 10 year window between the Rapture and the Second Coming. According to Daniel Matson’s “Signs of the End” the Second Coming is scheduled for Atonement 2017, which is Monday, October 30, 2017.
If we subtract (10 X 360 days) from that date we land at Saturday, December 22, 2007 – Winter Solstice.

Which, though short contained specific reference to a 10 year window between the Rapture and the Second Coming Tribulation which appears to have been from this post the day before:Lisa Taylor (11 Dec 2007) "To Ted Porter re: Eighth Day Rapture"Although I'd be remiss to not point out that Daniel Matson's "Sings of the End" has Atonement 2017 as being on September 30, 2017, not October 30, 2017, (page 175 for example). Also, the Hebrew standardized calendar has Atonement 2017, (Tishri 10), on September 30, 2017. However, Heshvan 10 is on October 30, 2017 and if the current Hebrew calendar is off by one month, then this would be true.Actually, the Hebrew calendar possibly being off was the basis of one of the posts that Lisa Taylor was responding to:Which I didn't respond to at the time, but I really appreciated the many kind words of Lisa's. I especially appreciated the 10 year "window" analogy between Sara and Abraham's ages. I also have been a strong proponent of a 10 year gap between the Rapture and the Second Coming, having included many reasons in my 2004 book, "Passion, Power & Glory - Watching for the Return of the Prince of Peace" (free for the ebook @ www.endofage.com ), which proposed reasons for watching for a Rapture sometime in 2005, two dates in particular, and then a 10 year gap with the return of the Lord to Earth on Atonement 2015.However, I've been lately anchoring my Second Coming timetable to Atonement 2015 and reducing the 10-year gap as we approach the believed-by-many 7 year gap between the start of the peace agreement or tribulation, take your pick, and the Second Coming. I could be trying to anchor to the 10 years but then I have a moving target for the end date. Atonement 2017 sounds good to me, especially with 1917 (Allenby) giving us 90 and 100 years with Sara and Abraham and 1517 (Luther) giving us 490 and 500 years with 70 times 7 forgiveness and half a millenium. If one looks at each "age" of roughly 2000 years, we've had a "new" calendar for each, all based one way or another on the sun. And any calendar based on the sun will slip one month approximately every 2,000 years, (precession of the equinoxes). So our current Gregorian which has as its starting place being 2000 years ago with Christ, and likewise the Hebrew reset by the seasons, would have slipped one month compared to Universe referenced calendar. As compared to starting with the calendar instituted by God with Moses, not quite another 2000 years before this, another month. And as compared to the calendar instituted at the start of the creation of Man by God, now a total of around 6000 year, the solar/lunar based calendars would be 3 months out of phase with the Universe based calendar. So take your pick as to how much out of phase we are compared to which calendar.I had also thought again of Valerie's "Sky Blue 21" for 12-21 which I was waiting for someone to also notice, which fortunately there was with Virginia's post:Meriam Brown brought up yesterday that the 21st could also be the fast day, the 10th of Tevet:Which if so, would also make it, adjusted as described above back to creation for the Universe calendar, Tishri 10, or Atonement. Saints be praised. Going from atonement to atonement. A fast and the most Holy day of the year. Also note that Winter starts officially at the Winter Solstice, December 22nd, 6:08-6:09 UT. This would be the best time to expect the Rapture. Let me explain. It is an astronomical event predictable down to the second. Sign in the sun, the first predicted sign. Also, while this would be 8:08-8:09 UT Jerusalem time, consider that this age could be considered the Church age so our reference should change to what could be called the promised land of this age, the land of religious liberty brought about because of a Christian world view, America. And Central Time, the middle of North America would place this at December 22nd, 0:08 - 0:09 CT. I had also in my book reviewed all the analogies to midnight and the Rapture which I won't go into here, but am just mentioning it for reference. But suffice it to say we know the midnight cry went out and there was just a short time, not enough to get more oil from anyone for the foolish virgins, possibly 8 to 9 minutes. A good fit. Also, don't you just love the also's? Shelby Corbitt in her book, 2007, predicted Summer 2007. By God's grace maybe she only missed it by one Season. What date would we all be watching right now if she had predicted Fall 2007? And don't we use the analogy of the Summer being the Church Age and then the Fall Feasts start the analogy of the coming Millennium Age starting with the Rapture of the Church? The end of Fall, December 22nd, 0:08 - 0:09 CT.I also couldn't help but notice the number 12 put with 21 as in 12/21 being one of the numbers listed in my previous post:http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/dec2007/tedp1210.htm In the table at the end of the post for the number 1221:37 (exhaltation) x 33 (promise) = 1221And what promise did Jesus give us? That He would Come Again!Shalom,Ted PorterP.S. (And that He would exhalt us in the Rapture). Also note for everyone that is seeing 1's. 37 x 33 is mathematically the same as 111 x 11.
