There's a program on TCT, Channel 18/Channel 21 (Tuesday nights, 7 PM Pacific and 8 PM Mountain) hosted by Shawn McCraney, a former Mormon.  Really neat...begins and ends w/music by Johnny Cash.  The TV program, HEART OF THE MATTER, features a teaching/call-in format.  The website is www.bornagainmormon ("Born-again Mormon: Lifting up Authentic Christianity and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Latter Day Saints").  Be mindful there's been some controversy on phrase, "born-again mormon," as some Christian websites suggest that's an oxymoron.  Nevertheless, an informative hour on the mormon faith (for non-mormons like me) followed by call-in challenges and sometimes attacks from mormons.  His/their mission/purpose is to "introduce Latter-day Saints to the God-given gift of spiritual rebirth through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ."  In other words, not by "works," but by "grace through faith."

• Shawn is a familiar face as the host of "Heart of the Matter" and "The Infallible Word" TV shows. He is the author of the book "I Was A Born-Again Mormon" and is a leader of Lord's Word.
• Growing up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS), Shawn served a mission in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He married his wife, Mary, in the Los Angeles Temple. They are both graduates of Brigham Young University. While a member of the LDS Church, Shawn served as a home teacher, elder's quorum president, seminary teacher and a member of a Bishopric and Stake High Council. In 2001, Shawn asked to be excommunicated from the LDS Church due to his personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• After a successful career as a securities broker, Shawn spent 2 years in training for pastoral ministry at the Calvary Chapel School of Ministry. Shawn and Mary are proud parents of 3 daughters.
