You are right about seeing the 70 year Generation during that time frame.   But I have another idea

that might fit the mold of a 70 year generation a little better. 

The nation of Israel was indeed founded on May 14, 1948.  But what was the Catalyst that brought

about the founding of their own homeland?  I believe it was WW II when the nation of Israel was freed from under the intense persecution from Hitler and the Nazi regime.   So...........

 

From the Sabbatical year of 1945, the end of WWII....when the nation of Israel was freed from their arch enemy- Adolph Hitler and the Nazi regime...until the Sabbatical year of 2015...when the redeemed nation of Israel is freed forevermore "from the hard bondage they were made to serve"  is exactly '70' years or  "10 sabbatical cyles."  Note Isa. 14 below which is THE END OF THE TRIB/BEGINNING OF THE KINGDOM.... 

 1: For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
2: And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
3: And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,
4: That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
5: The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.
6: He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth.
7: The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.  Now check out this time frame:
From the Feast of Firstfruits,  April 26/27, 2008, Nisan 21/22, 5768, the day of the rapture and the opening day of the Tribulation, to March 21, 2015 it is  Exactly 2,520 days!  The exact length of the Tribulation!!! Why is  NISAN 1, 5775, March 20/21, 2015 the perfect day for the Tribulation to end? 
Nisan 1, 5775, March 20/21, is the Holy Sabbath Day in Israel

Nisan 1, is “the head of the year”- (Rosh Hashanna= or head of the Sacred Year)

Nisan 1, March 20, is the New Moon, ‘Rosh Chodesh’

Nisan 1, March 20, is the Vernal Equinox,* The Sun/Son in His exact MIDDLE

Nisan 1, March 20/21, the first day “of the time of Life,” the Spring

Nisan 1, March 20, is a total Solar Eclipse, Saros Series 120, (120  x  50 Great Jubilee year= 6000 years!)

Nisan 1, March 20/21, The Sun/Son moves into Aries, The Lamb

Nisan 1, March 20/21, the day the Son/Sun physically “divides between the darkness and between the light”

Another Very important reason that Nissan 1,  the beginning of the Sacred calender is the perfecttime for the Tribulation to end is that is also when Kings go to battle.   So King Jesus will go tobattle on the last day of the Tribulation with the wicked and His old adversary Satan in that day!

So the main highlights are:

 April 26/27th 2008----------The pretrib rapture of the church and the beginning of the Tribulation:                                            on firstfruits,  the same day that our Lord was Resurected.  March 20/21 2015-----------The end of the trib and Battle of Armegedon and second coming of the                                             King of Kings during a total Solar Eclipse.   Exactly 2520 days!!! ...Sam Orlando...gone_n_2008@comcast.net
