Dear John & Doves;Yerushalayim lies atop mount Moriah (Hebrew meaning ‘chosen by Yehovah’). From Moriah three steep valleys emerge. The eastern most is gey hinnom (Gehenna, Aceldama, Potter’s field, and the smoldering trash dump symbolic of the flaming pit). The middle valley is the Tyropean Valley, The kotel haMavaree (Wailing Wall) is part of its eastern slope. This valley divides Mount Zion into two parts. The third valley is the Qidron valley a.k.a. The Valley of Jehoshaphat (Hebrew meaning ‘Yehovah has judged’.). This is the site of the Last Judgment.
From above, sunlight to the east, the shadows forms the Hebrew letter Shin (or sin depending on the pointing mark). It looks something like the English letter "W". It is Hebrew shorthand for El Shaddai, God my Protector.
