What I'm going to share here is a compilation of various thoughts, studies from others, and news articles for folks here to ponder. This is NOT a "Thus saith the Lord." Even so, I can't help noticing things I've been watching for years that now seem to be reaching some kind of conclusion.

After 40 days or weeks or years (in the Scriptures, and sometimes in real life) there is a change, usually a huge change. For instance, a woman's pregnancy is calculated to last 40 weeks. I'd say, to go from being a woman to being a mother is a pretty big change. After 40 years, but BEFORE 41 years, the Israelites left their wanderings in the Wilderness and entered into their Promised Land. THAT's CHANGE, a huge change. After 40 days of Goliath's threatenings and blasphemies, David killed him. That was change. The Israeli army went from hiding and shaking in their boots to attacking and winning over the Philistines. After 40 days in the Wilderness fasting and being tempted by the devil and relatively unknown, the Lord Jesus entered into His Ministry and was never forgotten afterwards. Another huge Change.

The Lord PREPARES for the coming "CHANGE" before the time of change arrives. For instance, Eli had judged Israel for 40 years. God had determined to remove him and his sons from office. So....the Lord put young Samuel into the picture long before he was needed to replace Eli and his sons. At the time of Change, Samuel was ready.

In June of 1967 another 40 year countdown (over the Lord's city Jerusalem--He will NOT be silent) began. It was fulfilled in 2007. While the time period of 40 is always fulfilled, the CHANGE must come BEFORE the 41 day/year, etc, comes to pass. FORTY YEARS WAS FULFILLED FOR JERUSALEM THIS PAST JUNE. There will be a HUGE CHANGE FOR JERUSALEM/Israel BEFORE THIS COMING JUNE 2008 if the Biblical pattern of 40's continues to hold true.

I believe that God prepared for this coming Change back on September 13th, 1993 with the Signing of the OSLO ACCORDS. Who is referred to as the Architect (father) of the OSLO Accords? Shimon Peres. IF THIS is the Agreement/Covenant that is to be STRENGTHENED, then one would expect to see it hanging around with various "ups and downs" (birth pangs) while it's BIRTH (the Strengthening of the Agreement/Covenant and Start of Trib) moves ever closer to reality. This is exactly what has been happening.

SEPTEMBER 2000 (2000/2001 Sabbatical year) The Oslo Accords, after various ups and downs, stalls somewhat and the Intifada (Oslo War) begins. Meanwhile, the Oslo Stranglehold continues to slowly tighten in spite of the ups and downs. No one can make it go away.

NOW WE COME TO 2007 (2007/2008 Sabbatical year) Immediately following the fulfillment of the FORTY YEARS for Jerusalem, CRISIS ERUPTS in Israel. JUNE 2007 The Crisis? HAMAS' COUP TAKES OVER GAZA AND PUTS A "FINAL NAIL" IN THE OSLO PEACE PLAN. (or so they think/say) As soon as this happened there were a ton of news articles (and I kept quite a few of 'em to prove it) stating that the Oslo Peace Process was DEAD and needed to be Resurrected! These news articles went on throughout the rest of June into the beginning of July.

Now, in amongst all the Oslo Panic we had folks, like this FM, reminding others to avoid any VIOLATION of the OSLO ACCORDS in response to the Hamas takeover of Gaza:

No matter what goes on, no one can get rid of this peace treaty. You can call it the Road Map or anything else you fancy, but it's root is the Oslo Accords, and it always seems to stay with us no matter what. Now guys, one of the articles during this time (last June/early July) was beyond interesting. It was written by a Rabbi on June 10th, '07, called: BEWARE OF FALSE MESSIAHS. This is actually about the Oslo peace process, but as a Believer you'll see the Double meaning here. Here are two quotes from the article:

1. "Tragically, the ONE THREAD that connects ALL FAKE MESSIANIC MOVEMENTS is the failure to be influenced by facts on the ground; despite the fact that - at least in accordance to classical and normative rabbinic sources - A DEAD MESSIAH CANNOT BE THE MESSIAH.

2. "...we dare not place our citizenship at risk on the basis of an illusion. OSLO IS A DEAD MESSIAH; it can ONLY BE RESURRECTED on the basis of indisputable changes on the part of Mahmoud Abbas and his Fatah cohorts - in speech as well as in deed."

2. While Oslo is a Dead Messiah, it is a Messiah nevertheless, and the term (Messiah) is given to it by a Rabbi of all people. He calls this Oslo Accords a false MESSIAH named "Peace Process". Well, didn't one of Israel's leaders a few years back say that, at this point, Israel would worship the devil if he could bring them peace? They'll only accept a Messiah who brings peace, and therefore, IF this Dead Messiah (Oslo peace accord) can be Resurrected (Strengthened) then it (or actually the Man behind it--AC) would qualify as the true Messiah since, a) it would be no longer dead, and b) it actually brought peace.

How sad to READ an article like this from the very ones who rejected the TRUE PEACE MESSIAH, and will embrace the False Peace Messiah. As I said before, the writing is already on the wall, the Deception is already well underway. May God have mercy. Hopefully, we're seeing that this "Oslo Accords" which came to us TWO SABBATICAL CYCLES AGO is MORE than just a peace deal. It won't be gotten rid of. When the Lord comes in 2015, the Oslo Accords (if it IS the treaty to be Strengthened) will have had 3 Sabbatical Cycles (3 x 7) to come to Fruition, 1993-2015.

Now, after all the OSLO PANIC in June and early July, the answer to the CRISIS comes. NOT the death of the Peace process, which we would expect, but instead a "rallying around it" to help it keep going again, sheesh.

So what happens in JULY to answer the "need" and keep the Oslo peace process going? Shimon Peres, the Father (ARCHITECT) of the Oslo Accords, was Sworn in as the 9th President of Israel, and will serve for 7 years. This happened on Sunday, July 15th, 2007. Everyone, including the POPE, was calling Peres (whose name means divided) to congratulate him AND to beg him to BRING PEACE to the region.

Once Peres is in place, THE VERY NEXT DAY - the 16th, President Bush announces a PEACE CONFERENCE in an address from the White House. The Process that was declared dead last June is now up and running again, and from that "announcement" and forward, the world powers were preparing for the Annapolis Conference, (AC).

OCTOBER, 2007 Of course, while we're waiting for the AC (Annapolis Conference) the news had "up and down" articles regarding the chances for peace over there, but check out the TITLE of this article, sheesh. It's like reading the Bible in the news. Remember that Jerusalem's Time is now fulfilled since last June, 2007:

NOVEMBER 27TH, 2007 (Annapolis Conference during the Sabbatical year) Okay, by now, this OSLO thing ought to have our attention. It just keeps on showing up like a horrible disease with no cure. I couldn't help but wonder if it was THIS peace process, now being replayed at the Annapolis Conference (AC) that will be strengthened, and IF it could be the literal fulfillment of 1 Thess. 5:3--> For when THEY shall SAY, Peace & Safety, THEN Sudden Destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

As soon as Peres was Sworn in he started pushing this peace process again, and everyone was saying "Peace & Safety" once again. Just for fun, I counted 40 weeks (the time of pregnancy mentioned in 1 Thess. 5:3) from July when Peres was sworn in, to the Sudden Destruction "baby" being due, and it came to April 2008. It IS interesting that 9 months from all that hullabaloo in July is April 2008.

Another thing interesting is that the AC (Annapolis Conference) AGREEMENT, signed on the 27th of November by all comers, including the IMF, the World Bank, the Vatican, and the rest of the world as well that was there, was exactly 5 months before April 27th, First fruits in 2008. FIVE being the number of Grace between the 1st part of 1Thess 5:3 (WHEN THEY SAY peace & safety) to the 2nd part (Sudden Destruction & Trib) in 2008. What made this Annapolis Conference AGREEMENT (and by the way the word "covenant" can also be translated "agreement" or "pledge" and both words were used in Annapolis) so READY to be the fulfillment of Daniel 9 and 1 Thess 5, was that ALL of the world players were there, AND ALL of the core issues INCLUDING JERUSALEM (remember Jerusalem is now ready since the 40 years are over) were on the table also.

Something REALLY SCARY about the document (AGREEMENT) signed at Annapolis is that they actually TRIED TO STRENGTHEN IT AFTER IT WAS SIGNED!!!! This was on November 30th, but was "mysteriously" withdrawn, the very same day, even though the entire UNSC was excited to sign the Resolution into being. Btw, did you know that the UNSC is also called the United Nations "Peace & Security" Council? Trying to pass this as a Resolution would have been "strengthening" it, imho. But the CHURCH is here so it didn't work. They had to settle for a lowly "press release" instead, GLORY!!

"The United States asked the UN Security Council to support a UN RESOLUTION endorsing this week's AGREEMENT by Israeli and Palestinian leaders to try to reach a Middle East peace settlement by the end of 2008."

We can see that a lot of stuff has been lining up into place ever since the 40 year period for Jerusalem was fulfilled last June. A Huge CHANGE is coming for Israel and the world, and it MUST COME BEFORE JUNE of 2008 and the 41st year (since 1967) begins. What could be a bigger change than the Trib? Keep in mine that, so far, we've just been looking (basically) at Israel and her peace process without the Prince of Peace. Because of their blindness towards their true Messiah at this time, they are opening themselves up for a false one. Remember that in Nisan of 2001, Israeli Rabbis DECLARED THAT THE TIME OF JACOB'S TROUBLE HAD BEGUN. Therefore, they will be expecting to SEE their Redemption THIS COMING NISAN, 2008 to begin their golden age.

MARCH 22, 2001 (Sabbatical year) Israeli Rabbis declared the start (On the FIRST OF NISAN) of the Time of Jacob's Trouble. The 2nd link has the actual Declaration, and more info:

Obviously, this APRIL 2008, seven years later, IN NISAN the ONLY month of REDEMPTION, these Rabbis and their followers are going to be looking for some kind of Global Armageddon, and then their Messiah. I can just see the "TIME MAGAZINE" headline now: "Have we survived Armageddon?" (sigh)

Let me say one final thing about Israel, OSLO and the Annapolis Agreement. When one rejects the TRUTH, then one leaves themselves open to Lies, and the results are bitter beyond comprehension. Israel's Greatest Mistake was rejecting their True Messiah, but OSLO was/is a terrible mistake as well in its own right because it is the attempts of man to bring peace without the True Prince of Peace. In the article below, it ends with this quote: "Indeed it appears THE MISTAKE (Oslo) keeps being repeated, but when we run out of erasure, while there are still pencils left, one starts suspecting that we cannot extract ourselves from this folly." No, THEY will NOT be able to extract themselves from this folly. Only the Lord will be able to do so when He returns in the Spring of 2015.

There are so many other things I could've listed here for proof that, imho, 2007 is a year preparing us for the HUGE CHANGE that will Explode (Sudden Destruction) on the world in the Spring (First Fruits) of 2008. I could've mentioned the worldwide drought (wheat prices are skyrocketing because of it) for instance, and the coming global economic collapse, but there isn't enough space. But let us look at a few more anyway:

(IsraelNN.com) 7/3/07 - The level of the Kinneret has declined by 36 centimeters (slightly more than 14 inches) since reaching its seasonal peak in May and now stands at 211.26 meters below sea level. The water level rose slightly more than two meters (slightly more than six and a half feet) during the winter, leaving it lower than at the same time last year.

Water Authority Council official Prof. Uri Shani recently stated that a water shortage looms if Israel does not start producing more desalinated water. The Cabinet took his warning to heart Sunday and voted to more than double the amount of desalinated water by 2013.

The lake has not filled to flood levels since the heavy rains in 1991 and 1992 and has not overcome the shortage resulting from the 1999-2002 dry spell. In addition, the underground aquifer system has been drying up. [end of article]

Notice that the lake has NOT filled to flood levels SINCE the heavy rains in 1991 & 1992. Ever since 1993, the signing of the OSLO ACCORDS, there has been a withholding of water by the Lord. Then on top of that, a DRY SPELL occurred in the years around the 2nd Sabbatical cycle of the final 3 (1993--2015) and the lake hasn't been able to overcome that. So much so, that the underground aquifer system has been drying up as well. God withholds His rain as a message to those with ears to hear.

2. The First Landing (actual name of the place-First Landing State Park) of British settlers (the 1st permanent English settlement) to America was in April, 1607 before pushing up the James River (around 40 miles) to establish Jamestown in May, 1607, 400 years ago. Now 400 is 40 (number of testing, etc) times 10 (number of completion) and is the same amount of years between the Old Testament and the 1st Coming of our Lord Jesus Messiah. IS THE TIME OF TESTING THE UNITED STATES OVER by next Spring? Is it a coincidence that all these numbers are happening at the same time?

"Historic Jamestowne was the beginning of England's successful colonization of America with the first Permanent English Colony. It was the first seat of English government in Virginia, the place where the 1st representative government met in 1619 and the 1st recorded arrival of Africans to English America." www.nps.gov/colo/ It is true that others had come to America, but THIS is the landing that "stuck", and lasted to build a nation.

5. The Mid Point of the Trib, if it starts this First Fruits, would be 3.5 years later and as others have already said previously, it would land right on the DAY OF ATONEMENT in Israel, YOM KIPPUR. Now, of ALL the days that are extremely sacred to the Jews, THIS IS THE DAY. Imagine the HORROR of seeing this "mere man" (who they thought was their true messiah) suddenly take his place as God in the Temple. May God have mercy.

6. This last OCTOBER 31st (2007) was 490 years since brother Martin Luther's Reformation when the True Church "Protested" and came out from Catholicism. 10/31/1517 - 10/31/07

7. UN RESOLUTION 242 was adopted UNANIMOUSLY by the UNSC on November 22, 1967 in the aftermath of the Six Day War. The resolution's most important feature is the "land for peace" formula, calling for Israeli wathdrawal from "territories" it had occupied in 1967 in exchange for peace with its neighbors. This past November 22, 2007 was 40 years fulfilled for this UN Resolution, and 5 days later was the AC (Annapolis Conference).

8. The Christians and Religious Jews aren't the only ones looking for their Messiah to come. So is Iran (Ahmadinejad) and the Mullahs. It is believed by them that their Mahdi, their 12th Imam, MUST come in the SPRING AFTER a global Armageddon happens. They are working to prepare for this coming global chaos because the horrific carnage MUST BE BAD ENOUGH to impress the Mahdi into "revealing" himself. Therefore, a future SPRING will bring this horrible chaos to the world, and since Iran is now saying that their NUKE PLANT WILL BE OPERATIONAL THIS SUMMER, then that only gives NOW through JUNE to Israel's IAF to take that Nuke Plant OUT. Another fact that points to THIS SPRING, 2008.
