We read with interest that Tony Blair has officially become a Catholic on 12/21/2007.
 
This date was marked by some as being significant.
 
Tony Blair left office on 6/27/2007.
 
From 6/27/2007 to 12/21/2007 is 177 days exactly. As John has said before, "177 is the gematria of the phrase 'Amen, Hallelujah!'"
 
177 = 59 x 3
 
And regarding the date, 12 + 21 = 33 and 1221 has a nice balance about it too.
 
Tony Blair of course was appointed as Middle East Envoy tasked with bringing peace to that area by the Quartet of UN, US, Russia and the EU.
 
Some say the Vatican wants to have its HQ at Jerusalem, the Holy City. Presumably this news adds considerable weight to that view.
