"On Setterfield and time speeding--thanks for information"

Thanks for the pointers to Barry Setterfield as the physicist whom I
mentioned who wrote about time.

I agree that time is speeding not just from a physical point of view;
it is speeding because of our ever-increasing awareness of events
pointing to the Lord's return.  Our awareness is now so crowded with
these that more mundane events seem to have little time to settle in to
our consciousness or our lives.

I was especially interested, at one time, in the commentaries of "hard"
scientists which related to Genesis.  This was because my son is a
physicist-chemist, and I hoped to interest him in these things.  Sadly,
he was not interested.  He listened to Chuck Missler's tape on Barry
Setterfield's ideas, and pooh-poohed them as ridiculous.  He thinks of
Missler as the most ridiculous man on the face of the earth.   It is
the arrogance of the modern-day scientist who thinks somehow that he
can learn everything.  But God knows more than any or all of us.

As I have requested before, please pray for the last-minute salvation
and deliverance of my son.  Jesus did say that some of our relatives
would not be as we are.  I have to accept this.  But I did pray for him
to be born; I still pray for him to be born-again.
