I believe that this falling of the cross off your pendant did have a
supernatural intervention. Your explanation is that we may be through
with the "cross", etc. I think this could be it!I find it impossible to wear a cross. I have wanted from childhood to
have a pretty cross to wear, even when I lived with atheist parents.
When in college, after becoming a Catholic, I bought a pretty French
cross which I had for many years, but rarely wore, as somehow it seemed
like I was either offending non-Christian friends by wearing or (I
thought to myself) possibly offending God, for He does not seem to like
us to consider His cross to be jewelry. Finally, my cross fell one day when I was trying to put it on outside,
after I had had it cleaned with other jewelry items at a jeweler's. If
fell into a place where it could not be retrieved. Even though it was
"pretty", I decided God had spoken, that I was not to wear this any
more. The cross is never pretty. It is the bad thing which paid for our sins.
But some may say, it marks us as followers of Yeshua. Yes, it does do
that. I like the compromise of a Christian evangelical friend in
Seattle, who wears a "fish", which sometimes attracts attention and
gives her the opening to testify of her faith.I saw a beautiful tanzanite cross on "Jewelry TV" the other night, and
I was longing for it. But as soon as I started noting how beautiful
it was --very high quality gems, my favorite gem of all in the world--I
thought that even if I could afford it I should not wear it or give it
to anyone.Let the cross be the cross, as it was on Calvary. Could that be the
message to you, Judy?I long for the day when we will never think of the cross of Calvary
again. Perhaps, too, the Lord is saying this to you:The day of the
sacrificial death of My son is now ending, and His triumph is at hand;
the day of the Jewish nation's acceptance of Him is yet future, but
for you, a new day is come. The day of deliverance from all things
which brought the cross to earth.Thank you for final deliverance, Jesus.
