Dear Reva,

     I know how you feel about your dog.  We have a dog and a cat who we consider to be family members, too.  I have also wondered if God will take them in the Rapture.  While  I can’t build doctrine around this, there is a Biblical model that gives me hope.  Noah and his family were not the only ones to be saved from the Flood.  Animals were also taken onto the Ark.  Since the last days are compared to the days of Noah, perhaps some animals will also be spared from the effects of the Tribulation.  The Lord knows how some of us have bonded with animals here on earth. He gave these animals the ability to respond to us with love and loyalty.  I can’t help but think and hope that the relationships that we have formed here with animals will survive into eternity.
