     Thank you for sharing your "let down."  I felt the same way about all the Christmas decorating, getting out the Christmas cards, all the hoop-la.  I had to push myself to get tree/decorations up - for our children and grandchildren.
     What was unusual - aside from all this - deep down I felt more of a connection - more than usual - to our Lord Jesus.  Then on Christmas morning I had a supernatural experience of His loving me - so much I could hardly take any more.  I started looking at my body to see if it was changing (This was half dream/half awake - lasting about 15 seconds).  Then the phone rang and it all stopped.   It was like something that happened to me about 36 years ago right after I was saved.  Has this ever happened to you - or to anyone else out there?
