Judy, I have read your letters with much interest...thank you for sending them for us to read! (Years ago I would go to the Bible and ask for confirmation for my prayers...looking for specific words/numbers.) Your letter about your two chosen words sure looks like a confirmation (I don't believe in coincidences...G-d moves in mysterious ways. :)).
I had something strange happen to me in August -- I wasn't praying at the time -- I was just preparing for my surgery...I posted below a snip from my August 28th 5Doves letter - all I can say is, it was a miracle... I certainly wasn't praying for any signs/etc concerning the End Times, but this strange thing happened. (I'm a chemist...I work in a laboratory...I'm use to 'scientific' explainations...but this has just baffled me...I still can't get that cross on the chain!!!!)
Judy, Thank you for your 'time/clock' update...very interesting.
Shalom, Judy Whitson
August 28th letter:
Hello, John and 5Doves --
(snip)
Usually when G-d has something big to say to me he gives me an 'item' or a voice -- something I can touch/hear and leaves me to contemplate the meaning, if it isn't obvious to me. I decided to write this down, just in case, and then I decided to send it to 5Doves for your perusal. :)
I had such an experience recently...two hours before my scheduled surgery on Aug. 16th, 2007, I went to remove my jewelry - a feather ring and a necklace -- a very slender gold chain with a tiny cross and a Star of David. I purchased the tiny cross/gold chain in 1998 at a booth at a God's News Behind the News Prophecy Convention in Orlando...the booth was owned by Israeli Messianic Jews...the lady who sold it to me said it was made in Israel by Messianic Jews. I have worn that cross/chain constantly since that time - receiving numerous compliments. One thing peculiar to this pendant is that the cross could not come off the chain...the hole in the cross is TOO small for the loop at the end of the chain...this pleased me for when I removed this pendant (only on rare occassions) I knew the cross would not be lost from the chain. The little Star of David was a gift from my sister -- she visted Israel in 2006 and bought it at a shop there. This Star fits easily on to the chain..it has it's own link/loop for the chain to easily pass through.
Well, last Thursday before my surgery I unclasped the necklace; as I was setting the necklace on the counter I lost my grip on one end of the chain and the cross slid off on to the floor (but not the star!)...I was shocked! I picked up the cross and tried to put it back on the chain, but the only hole in the small cross big enough for the loop on the chain to pass through made the cross hang upside down on the chain. The hole in the cross that would keep the cross upright was far too small for the loop...so how did the cross fall off the chain? And why didn't the star fall off since they were side-by-side??? I have several times had to remove this pendant and NEVER has the cross come off...it physically couldn't!!!
When the cross hit the floor...in my stunned state...it came to my mind that 'the cross' is past...it won't be remembered or needed any more...what is important now is Israel.
Days later, after recovering, I attempted again to get the cross back on the chain...I even used my high-powered stereoscope...it can't be done. Physically impossible. I have had my husband try and numerous friends...no one can see how this cross could have fallen off the chain as it can't physically be put back on the chain!!! This has been driving me nuts for days...My only explaination concerns the 'thought' that hit me as I watched the tiny cross fall from the chain..."the days of needing the cross are over/the purpose for the cross is passed"..."Israel is the "focus" now...we must pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
Does this mean the days of the Gentiles is over?? Are we 'finished' with the Cross?? Or, is the Cross 'finished' with us??? I don't mean any disrespect..this just comes to mind.
So, I wear the chain with only the Star of David...the cross lies in a jewelry box...until I have another 'miracle' that allows the cross back onto the chain. I will be returning to work this week...I know co-workers will be asking me where my cross went....as they will only see the Star. This will be tough to explain.
Just wanted to share this with you guys....
