"It's the end of the world
as we know it"
Dear friends:
Last night I got a telephone call from old friend Dr. Armando Pardillo in
New Mexico, telling me about something strange that happened to him the
other day.
He got one of these chain e-mails that said to "forward it to 7 (or,
10, or whatever) other people" and such and such will happen I
usually delete those immediately, especially the ones that say if I do so
I will have good luck, because there is no such thing as luck. God
is sovereign and the universe is not a random operation.
This one said that if he forwards it, he will get a message from an angel
at exactly 10:00 a.m. the next morning. Contrary to his usual
judgment, he did forward it, then forgot about it. He really did
not think there was anything to it.
The next morning, he was in the operating room at the hospital.
Music from a secular radio station was playing over the
speakers.
Suddenly, Armando heard the words, "It's the end of the world as
we know it." He looked up at the clock and it read exactly
10:00 a.m.!!!
Momentarily, he went about his work, and looked back up again to see if
he was right the first time. This time the clock read exactly 10:01
a.m., revealing that he was right the first time.
Whether or not it was an angel, or coincidence, or some kind of
synchronicity, it was definitely a stunning development, especially since
Armando is an avid prophecy student who believes the rapture and
tribulation are imminent.
I googled the song this morning and discovered that "It's the End
of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)" is a song by the
rock band R.E.M. found on their 1987 album Document.
It is certainly possible, that with the many confirming events, including
the recent Annapolis conference, it is, indeed, "the end of the
world as we know it."
