"The Sheepfold Season"

Dear John and all Doves,
We are midway through the sheepfold season from November to February. These are months when the sheep are gathered in the sheepfold for their protection. Some of the dangers they are avoiding are the following: cold rain, blustery cold winds, getting lost,  getting caught in bramble bushes, falling off of cliffs, attacks from wolves and other predators, starvation, dehydration, freezing, life threatening accidents, or kidnapping. Does the Good Shepherd seem to be a caring and wise man? This man is a professional. He knows every aspect of what he does. He is no faithless hireling who would run away whenever the little flock is in danger. This man has courage and integrity in abundance. Are we filled with hearts of gratitude to be eternally safe within His care? Little flock, take heart! Our Good Shepherd will come for us soon to take us to the best sheepfold in the universe. It is called the New Jerusalem. May we hear your voice and be led to your Door, Good Shepherd/Bridegroom. Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done, On Earth As It Is In Heaven...

With Love and Shalom,
